Today we know many programs to chat or to relate with other people, exist social network like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest. But today I want to talk about a little thing I noted in many social network, but in special way on Twitter.
For example, on Facebook, you can decide what make public and not, you can decide if every post you make are public or only some people can view it, this is possible because the program of Facebook allow it.
Twitter it's different, it's create to make all public or all secret. If you want your tweet are not read only from your closed friend, you can go on your Twitter profile (when there is the wheel in upper right) then click about Settings, then security and privacy, in the Privacy section you can choose Protect my Tweet”.
In the description is write: If selected, only the people who will authorize your Tweet. Those that you submit in the future will not be available publicly. I Tweet you sent previously may still be visible somewhere.
In this way your tweet is not public and you can control them and you can write what you want if you know really know the people follow you.
But the problem is that many people want to be public to have much followers but not want that others reply tham or retweet them, and...I know all you ask yourselves what this people do in a social network. Errrhhh! I don't know, sorry.
So, you always remember that on Twitter if you public you thought, you public it to all the world, as you are native english as you use italian language and as you us 'oc, oil or alien language. If you have not a padlock next your name, the whole world can read or reply or retweet.
In this case you can't complain if soemone you don't know reply you and you can't offend other because you don't want any other reply you, and in reality you can't offend none.
The first rule are don't offend none, this is write in the netiquette, RFC 1855.
When you post your thought on Twitter please think that not only adults view your tweet also kids and adolescent can read, so think before post and think if your sons read it? What do they think about you?
Ahhh...yes, “but I have a nick name...”, sorry but your sons are not idiots, they have just read you are in reality (if don't believe me, think about this “have you ever left the window open with the fostri children who are in the room and maybe you got up two minutes to take anything away from the table?” I can give you more other example, shhhh...).
Your privacy depend only from you not from who read what you write in public.
