The internal KI, is not something that flows in the human vein, is the same human being, his soul; through breathing the KI is accumulated in all parts of the body, but it is taken again only when mind and body are calm; cannot enact ki if the mind is not free from every thought and focused on that is doing and if the body is relaxed but alert and tonic.
The external KI is the soul of the nature, that soul that contains every being beside ourselves, that surround us and includes the whole universe (in the chinese culture is the soul creates everything).
The individual KI and the nature KI are united and influence each other, all everything around us affects our character, our character affects the individual KI of others and all that around it, as positive as negative.
If individual KI is in harmony with the nature KI it’s said that our KI is in empathy with the nature KI, but that don’t mean overwhelm the other, don’t mean get involved with the feeling of other so much to laugh and cry in the same moment, don’t mean to be always agree with each other.
Emphatic state is formed before the same opinion is formed, means being able to understand the emotion he feels each other without any prejudice, we can understand that these feelings belong to another and to ourselves.
Then, you should learn to respect each other within prejudice, respecting others' views even if you disagree with them, trying to understand own position, but without overwhelming who talk, without oblige to take our position with strength, always think well of others and always look for their good and their happiness as far as possible trying to help them have a Ki inner harmony (or help them live well with themselves and with others helping to resolve small or big problems that you may encounter during life).
The ki is part of that we western called Zen meditation (japanese word and not chinese) meditation can induce a state of no-mind to the person who exercises this to be able to seek a state of harmony and efficiency of the body -mind. Since Ta Mo arrived at the Shaolin Temple monks and teaches the techniques of Buddhist Zen meditation, it has always been united in the practice of martial arts. In fact, you can not perform a technique without having the right concentration and right meditation.
All that is the philosophy of the martial art synthesized, because you can not define the philosophy of an art without leaving wothing and above all of an art so complex that it takes years and years of practice to claim to know only a fraction of all martial culture.
